"I read anything that’s going to be interesting. But you don’t know what it is until you’ve read it.
Somewhere in a book on the history of false teeth there’ll be the making of a novel. "
- Sir Terry Pratchett
When I was young, I hated to read. But at some point, one doesn't know exactly why or how, the gate to the infinite worlds of books was pushed open. Since then, about 25 years, I am a frequent reader. My reading interests are diverse and range from technical literature (eg economics, sociology, biology,...) to fantasy and science fiction to horror literature and thriller.
In an average lifetime you can manage to read about 3,500 books (one book per week over 65 years) . Let's see how many I will be able to read.
"Life is too short to read a bad book"
- James Joyce
